Aspen Lodge wedding
WOW WOW WOW! That is what first came to mind when I arrived at the aspen meadow for Amanda and Robbie’s Aspen Lodge wedding ceremony! A beautiful sunny fall day in a meadow full or aspens with Longs Peak in the background. Simply, WOW!
I was super excited that all of aspens still had their leaves as this year in Colorado fall has been quite weird. Some trees started loosing their leaves in the beginning of September before they even changed colors and I have seen some aspens that are still green.. Strange, but I’ll take it! The aspens in this meadow were a stunning golden color that the sun lit up so beautifully!
Amanda and Robbie were amazing to work with! I loved the unique look they both have and the fall colors that were incorporated in the wedding parties attire and the flowers.
Amanda arrived in a horse drawn carriage and I just loved the look on Robbie’s face when he saw her for the first time walking down the aisle to him. They wrote their own vows, which is something I am loving lately! It’s so intimate and personal to share such special words with one another in front of your closest family and friends.
Their close friend preformed the ceremony and another played music for them… I love when weddings are personal like that and everyone has a strong connection to the couple. Before the ceremony started their friend who was officiating shared how he first met Robbie at the airport when they were both on their way to Denver for the same concert. Robbie wasn’t sure how he was going to get to the venue once he arrived.. Long story short, his new found friend helped him out by getting him there and they have been close ever since! I love that kind of stuff!
Amanda and Robbie were a down to earth and kindhearted couple! My dream bride and groom to work with! Their friends and families were super fun and awesome as well! They laughed, cried, and partied with the newlyweds the entire time!
They had two friends that MADE this amazingly creative and unique backdrop for photos that was at the reception for guests to have fun with. How cool is that??!
