As I turned down the street to arrive at Wild Basin Lodge it was as if I were entering a different world… A very snowy winter wonderland to be exact! And what a magical day it turned out to be…
Mari & Andy’s DIY details were unique and creative! I also LOVE the pine cones in the center pieces and Mari’s bouquet was stunning!
Mari was so relaxed while she was getting ready… and OH MY what a gorgeous lace dress she had with such beautiful sparkle beading! Once Mari was ready to go it was time for the ceremony!
As I got set up for it to begin I couldn’t help but spy on such a precious moment between the groom and his grandmother… 🙂
Mari & Andy said their ‘i dos’ in front of the fireplace at the lovely Wild Basin Lodge. It was an intimate and beautiful ceremony. I LOVE Andy’s expression when he saw his stunning bride for the first time!
After the ceremony we braved the snow outside… I am SO glad that they were up for it! Even though it was cold and snowing… It was so amazing!
I LOVE the ‘just married’ blanket they had made! It was perfect for the weather and such a fun romantic touch for their outdoor photos in the snow!
The highlight of their reception was when Mari’s bridesmaids and her two cousins got up for their toast… It wasn’t a traditional toast… They had props and fun outfits to go along with the song they sang!! It was awesome and hilarious and had the entire room busting with laughter!
