Della Terra Mountain Chateau – wedding photography

I have the joyful pleasure of living in one of the most breathtakingly beautiful locations in the world (in my humble opinion!) I have been many different places all over the world and out of everywhere I have seen, Colorado remains one of the most awe inspiring! I LOVE being able to go to “work” in such stunning locations all over this gorgeous state! One of my very favorite venues in Colorado is the Della Terra Mountain Chateau! It is absolutely stunning! The chateau is nestled in the quaint small town of Estes Park just a short drive from one of the entrances into Rocky Mountain National Park.

Not only is the venue stunning, but it is owned by the most amazing individuals! They employee some of the greatest people I have ever had the pleasure of working with! I always feel like family the second I walk through the door!

The chateau has such an elegantly gorgeous dive way!!

And when you turn the corner… WOW! I love the floor to ceiling windows that wrap around the chateau! It looks stunning and makes for incredible light for photos!

This reception room is unlike any I have ever seen!

I LOVE the chateau’s ceremony spot! It is absolutely magical!

I have shot numerous weddings where the bride will arrive in a horse drawn carriage! How romantic is that? It’s right out of a fairy tale!

The meadow that is just to the west of the ceremony site is my favorite place to take photos of the bride and groom (besides at the actual chateau!) This meadow is normally sunkissed and has an enchanting way about it…

Of course the venue is gorgeous in the fall with all of the aspen trees that line the pathway!

I LOVE the bridge that leads you to the ceremony spot! It looks very European and romantic!

One of my favorite parts of a wedding is right after the bride and groom have been announced as husband and wife! Della Terra makes this moment extra special by having a rose toss as the couples walks through a receiving line of their family and friends over the bridge!
