Colorado is such an incredible place. The breathtaking mountain ranges provide quite the backdrop for a wedding celebration.
Rachael and Joe exchanged vows in one of the prettiest places I have ever been…. Atop a mountain in Breckenridge, Colorado.
Rachael and I were connected through a mutual friend, Lacy. I met Lacy my freshmen year in high school and she became one of the most influential and best people in my life in a time where you really need people in your corner. Even though we don’t see each other often, she will always be one of the best people I know. I hadn’t seen her in a few years, but when we ran into each other before the wedding that didn’t matter in the slightest!
Finally meeting Rachael in person was the best! She had been so down to earth and kind in all of our correspondence that I just couldn’t wait to meet her! She was smiles and tears pretty much the entire day.

First looks are becoming one of my favorite parts of a wedding day. I LOVE how intimate they are and that they allow the couple a few moments to truly take in the day just the two of them!
Seven’s Restaurant was a wonderful venue! The location was incredible and the food was delicious.

Ceremony time… Bring on the laughter and tears!
Their wedding day had just about every kind of weather… Snow, rain, hail and sunshine!
After the ceremony it began to snow right in the middle of family photos! They had so much fun with it.

How did you meet your future spouse?

Tell me your engagement story!
We were in Brooklyn, NY visiting his sister and brother in law for Christmas. We went out for a surprise date night, and he proposed at Rockefeller Center on December 27, 2017.
What made you pick your venue?
We love love love Breckenridge. It’s the perfect mini vacation spot. I Fell in love with this town back in high school when my parents and I came out for ski vacations from Wisconsin. I pretty much told Joe this is where we were getting hitched and he didn’t have an option. Haha
What inspired you during wedding planning?
Having our closest family and friends join us during the perfect time of year in a perfect Colorado town means the world to us. We wanted to keep things simple but yet memorable for all who are making the trek out here.
