Scandinavian charm – Copenhagen Denmark
We got up before the sun on our last morning in London to have a taxi take us to a bus station that then took us to the airport to catch out flight to Copenhagen Denmark! We were yet again going to another country on our list of stops for this epic adventure! We were tired, but once we got out of the metro station in Copenhagen it was as if a new burst of energy sparked! We had less than 24 hours in the enchanting city and we didn’t want to waist a single second of it!
Once we found our hostel, which just so happened to be awesome! All of our hostels up to this point were nice, but this one was on a whole different level! If you’re ever in the area, be sure to check out the Copenhagen Downtown Hostel!
After we dropped our bags at the hostel we just wandered around everywhere! We didn’t a specific plan – a few spots we wanted to see and just meandered our way around! Here are some images from our day in Copenhagen… A day is NOT enough time whatsoever!!
After a lovely afternoon strolling the streets we were famished! Ernest looked up a traditional Danish sandwich shop… OH MY! It was incredible!! So much so that we had it again the next day on the way to the metro station! Anyways, once we got our sandwiches we walked to a gorgeous harbor, sat by the water and watched as the sun went down.
The next morning before we had to leave, Ryan and I wandered around a little more. We stumbled upon charming coffee shops, flowers stores, and bookshops! What more do we need???
I hope to one day be able to visit this lovely city and devote much more time to exploring!
Next week… Stockholm, Sweden!!
